Transimex implements measures in response to Coronavirus (Covid-19)

 

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic has now become a global pandemic, affecting nearly all the  countries and continents in the world. Vietnam is no exception with 268 cases (updated on: 4/21/2020). Since the outbreak, Transimex has strictly implemented the Government’s guidance by quickly putting in place many measures to cope with the prevention of disease transmission and to maintain business operations continuously.

In March 2020, Transimex Corporation took initiative in planning the disease response and business maintenance (also known as BCP - Business Continuity Plan), accordingly, the Company issued regulations on hygiene epidemiology and is actively supplying with and conducting weekly sprays of disinfectant at all working sites and company vehicles. Simultaneously, Transimex employees and visitors are required to comply with medical declarations, wear a mask and take preventive measures for themselves; employees are provided masks and hand sanitizer solutions, etc. The company also regularly communicates to employees how to prevent diseases, recommendations from the authorities about honest reporting and the possibility of exposure to potentially infectious cases. In addition, Transimex has arranged for employees to work at home, divided employees into many working groups in different offices, minimized business trips and direct contact with customers, and all meetings were converted to online.

With suitable, quick, and comprehensive measures and the unanimity of all employees in disease prevention, all Transimex's production and business activities are maintained stably, providing the best service and meeting customers' requirements. In the coming time, Transimex will continue to update and implement measures in line with requirements in response to the disease, as well as comply with the guidance of the authorities and the government. The company also carried out hand sterilization, body temperature measurement, and required wearing masks for all employees and customers when coming to work.

Employees working in warehouses are required to always maintain a minimum working distance of 2 metres.
